Up until now, you’ve been enjoying our burritos, tacos, nachos, or any of our menu items with any of our six different fillings – our delicious Grilled Chicken, Pulled Pork, Grilled Steak, Slow Cooked Beef, Pan Seared Barramundi, or Sauteed Veggies…! Lots of choices… but at GYG we love our customers way too much and we’re always looking into adding new things to our menu to make them love us even more!
With our relentless pursuit to bring you the best quality and most traditional Mexican food we wanted to bring you the best recipe out there! We don’t take shortcuts in our kitchens. Ever!
It all started when our founder – Steven Marks asked our Head Chef – Cindy Flores “who makes the best Ground Beef in Mexico?” and her answer was simple… “My Mama – it’s a family recipe passed down through generations and if we are going to serve Ground Beef at GYG, this is the only way – the Mexican way”.
We decided to fly Mama Flores from Guadalajara (Mexico) all the way down to Australia, and Mama Flores Style Ground Beef was born!
