Guzman y Gomez is coming to St. Ives!
GYG will be located at The Foodary at Caltex (164 Mona Vale Road, St. Ives)! We’re aiming to open around the time that school goes back, which will be perfect for time-strapped parents who are looking for a quick, easy meal that is delicious and packed with fresh ingredients.
Never heard of us?! Here’s a quick back story!
Guzman y Gomez was founded in 2006 by Steven Marks and Robert Hazan, two New Yorkers who moved to Australia and noticed that they couldn’t find proper Mexican food anywhere.
A flight back home to get decent Mexican food might have been a tad easier but creating Australia’s fastest growing restaurant chain has proven to be a lot more fun! They saw this gap in the market as a great opportunity and created their first store in Newtown. Over ten years later, there are over 103 restaurants WORLDWIDE, including Singapore and Japan!
So good people of the North Shore, take a look at some of the incredible menu items that will soon be available in your neighbourhood!
